Jawaharlal Nehru Botanical Garden is located right next to Rumtek Monastery.

The ideal time to go to the garden is from March through May, in the spring when it is filled with the vibrant colors of blossoming flowers. Also, visit the garden from the months of October through Mid-December for an amazing view of the nearby valleys and mountains covered in snow.

The garden is accessible on every day of the week from 8 am until 6.30 at night.

Entry fees are at Rs. 10 per adult and the fee is Rs. 5 per person for children.
