Tsomgo Lake is a day excursion from Gangtok. It is advised to leave to the lake early in the morning so that you can arrive at the right time to enjoy the scenic views.

You'll require the special permit to enter the lake. It is available at the Sikkim tourism department located at MG Marg Gangtok or you could contact your travel agent for the same. You'll need a photo identification proof and two passport-sized photos for the permit.
